A Day of Free Dental Care - Smiles for All
The sun will shine a little brighter on Sunday, October 18th, when we hold our fifth day of free dental care, Smiles for All. From dawn til dusk, we will work with our team of volunteers to give the under-served in our community - many who lined up before dawn - a free examination followed by a cleaning, filling or extraction.
“We want our community to know that we're here for them - whether they’re out of a job, or just don’t have dental insurance. To us, dentistry is much more than just fixing a person's teeth. It's also about restoring their sense of dignity, and hope. ” said Dr. Kelvin Choi.
After four years hosting this event, we have donated $200,000 worth of dental treatment to over 400 neighbors in need. Our efforts have been recognized by the South San Francisco Mayor's office, Assemblyman Kevin Mullin and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
