Dr. Jeffrey Yui is our endodontist who specializes in root canals. Endodontics allows Dr. Yui the opportunity to improve his patients’ quality of life by restoring an infected tooth to ideal health and function. Dr. Yui’s gentle touch and attention to detail allows even the most complicated endodontic procedure to be done quickly, effectively, and with very little discomfort. In fact, he loves seeing his patients pleasantly surprised when they expect a root canal to hurt, and the opposite ends up to be true!
Dr. Yui attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He then completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with NYU Langone Dental's (formerly Lutheran Medical Center) affiliated site in Oakland. Afterwards, Dr. Yui worked in a community clinic and private practice prior to beginning his specialty training in endodontics at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Yui joined our team of specialists at South San Francisco Dental Care in November 2016. He is excited to surround himself with people who are dedicated to excellence in the care of patients.
Dr. Yui grew up in South Sacramento. He enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing and hiking, and spending time with family. He is also fluent in Cantonese.
