Dental Administrator 1

The Dental Administrator 1 position is an entry level dental admin role. This role serves as the focal point for the patient appointment process and this individual is the first point of contact for all patients (new, returning, and existing). The position acts as the face of the office and a key liaison between patients and the team, setting the tone for quality of care and hospitality. All new front office team members start at the Dental Administrator 1 level and can progress to the Dental Administrator 4 level through their career with us.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with a keen eye for detail and strong follow-through.

  • Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively with a team.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.

Technical & Professional

  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Gmail).

  • Friendly phone etiquette and typing/word processing skills.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, tactful, and quick to learn and memorize new systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist or greeter, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.

  • Comfortable presenting financial arrangements and collecting money.

  • Bilingual speaking ability (a plus).

Schedule

  • Full-time (8:30AM–5:00PM on scheduled work days), Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as assigned.
