Our New Virtual Check-In Steps

We’re looking forward to seeing you and your family again after reopening. Before your next visit, please familiarize yourself with our new check-in steps and guidelines. They follow CDA and ADA protocols and are in place to help protect you and our staff during COVID-19.

  1. We will be calling to confirm your appointment and to screen for COVID-19 symptoms and risks. If we are not able to reach you before your appointment, your appointment may be cancelled. Our automated emails, calls and text reminders are currently offline at this time, so please make sure to confirm by phone and set a reminder for your upcoming appointment.

  2. Complete any online forms ahead of time including our COVID-19 screening form. You will be given instructions on how to complete these forms when we call to confirm your appointment.

  3. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. We are seeing less patients to allow 30 minutes to sterilize your treatment room before and after your appointment. We appreciate your early arrival to help keep us on schedule.

  4. When you arrive on the premises, please call (650) 871-1400 to check-in and wait in your car or in the lobby. Our reception room is reserved for caregivers and parents or guardians. In an effort to keep our patients safe, we have decided to remove the complimentary beverage center and magazines.

  5. We will call you to enter the office when your treatment room is clean and your doctor or hygienist is ready to see you!

  6. Only patients with an appointment or parents/guardians accompanying a minor will be allowed to enter the office. Please plan on coming to your appointment alone or prepare any companions to wait for you outside the office.

  7. Please wear your face mask before entering the office. We have hand sanitizer available at the front desk for you to clean your hands.

  8. Your temperature will be checked at the front desk by a touch-free thermometer. If your temperature is 100⁰F or greater, we are required to reschedule your appointment.

  9. Our mission is to make this office a place where you feel clean and comfortable. We would like to extend a warm reception to all of our patients, though for the time being we will greet you from a safely advised distance and limit casual conversations for the sake of everyone’s safety. We are excited to see you and are overjoyed that you have been healthy during this trying time in our country.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us (650) 871-1400. For the most up-to-date info during COVID-19, including our schedule and guidelines, please visit, www.ssfsmile.com/updates
